Lesson #1 – What is OSHA? / Training Requirements / Citations for Dentistry

Lesson #2 – Exposure Control Plan / PPE / Immunizations / Engineering & Work Practices / Managing an Exposure Incident

  • Develop or review an Exposure Control Plan based on OSHA standards for orthodontic workflows.
  • Select and implement appropriate PPE for various clinical scenarios.
  • Explain required immunizations, including Hepatitis B, and related work restrictions.
  • Differentiate between engineering controls and work practice controls and apply them appropriately.
  • Respond to an exposure incident with proper first-aid, documentation, and referral steps.
